Share With Family

Your voice matters. One talk with a family member, friend, or neighbor could help them get screened in time.

Ways to start the talk

  • “I learned about a lung screening. It is a quick scan. Can I tell you about it?”
  • “You matter to me. Would you check if this test is right for you?”
  • “I am thinking about getting screened. Want to look into it together?”

Who to share with

Think about people 50 or older who smoke now or used to smoke. This might be a parent, a spouse, a friend from church or work, or a neighbor.
